Aus Providence \/ Rhode Island (USA) stammt das mir hier musikalisch vorliegende Quartett HELL BENT. Den Namen gaben sie sich in Anlehnung an einen Songs der Speed-Thrash-Metal Band ZN\u00d6WHITE. Diese Band stammte aus Chicago und l\u00f6ste sich 1990 auf.<\/p>\n

Mit einem unterschriebenen Labeldeal bei HPGDP ver\u00f6ffentlichen sie heute ihr Deb\u00fctalbum “Apocalyptic Lamentations<\/em>” das mit 9 Tracks gespickt ist und eine sehr knappe Laufzeit von 23:38 min. aufweist. Schon recht kurz f\u00fcr ein Album.<\/p>\n

Was mir sofort in die Geh\u00f6rg\u00e4nge schie\u00dft ist die vokalistische Darbietung von S\u00e4nger Badger. Hier schwanke ich zwischen gew\u00f6hnungsbed\u00fcrftig und ungew\u00f6hnlich. Screams mit einem Hauch Helium? Wie auch immer. Im unteren Teil k\u00f6nnt ihr ein oder auch zwei Ohren riskieren. Ansonsten ballern mir die Herren eine Furie nach der anderen im Hardcore\/Crossover\/Thrash Metal Stil um bzw. in die Lauscher. Kreativit\u00e4t steht nicht an oberster Stelle, aber das will man hier wohl auch nicht. Voll auf die M\u00fctze hei\u00dft die Devise und dies klappt bestens. Am Ende gibt es noch zwei Coverversionen der oben schon erw\u00e4hnten Zn\u00f6white, also Huldigung auf ihre Art.<\/p>\n

Fazit:<\/strong> hier bekommt ihr einen kurzen Klaps mit dem Vorschlaghammer auf euer Hinterteil serviert, also bereit machen!<\/p>\n
