Die New Wave of British Heavy Metal-Kultband PAGAN ALTAR<\/strong>, die f\u00fcr ihre starke stilistische Orientierung am Doom Metal und Okkultismus bekannt ist, ver\u00f6ffentlicht Neuauflagen ihres 2004er Albums LORDS OF HYPOCRISY <\/strong>und ihres 1982er Deb\u00fctalbums JUDGEMENT OF THE DEAD<\/strong>, das zum ersten Mal offiziell 2005 ver\u00f6ffentlicht wurde. Nachdem zuletzt 2017 \u00fcber Temple of Mystery Records <\/em>das posthume Album The Room of Shadows <\/em>erschien, das die letzte Ver\u00f6ffentlichung mit ihrem 2015 verstorbenen S\u00e4nger Terry Jones<\/em> ist, wurde Magic Circle<\/i>s Brendan Radigan <\/em>als neuer S\u00e4nger bekannt gegeben. Eine aktuelle Ver\u00f6ffentlichung ist jedoch nicht absehbar, f\u00e4llt es Gitarrist Alan Jones<\/em> verst\u00e4ndlicherweise sichtlich schwer, den Tod seines Bruders mit einem Fortf\u00fchren des musikalischen Erbes zu verarbeiten.<\/p>\n

Dennoch gibt es mit den Re-Releases, von denen f\u00fcr Herbst auch eines des 2006er Albums Mythical & Magical<\/em> und der 2004er EP The Time Lord <\/em>geplant ist, ein Schmankerl, da die beiden f\u00fcr 17. April angek\u00fcndigten Alben l\u00e4ngst vergriffen sind und lediglich gebraucht ab 50 Euro aufw\u00e4rts erstanden werden k\u00f6nnen. Fans von PAGAN ALTAR <\/strong>oder Bands wie Witchfinder General <\/em>und Black Sabbath <\/em>bekommen so die M\u00f6glichkeit ihre Plattensammlung mit einer remasterten Version aufzustocken. Die Ver\u00f6ffentlichung von JUDGEMENT OF THE DEAD <\/strong>wird dar\u00fcber hinaus ein 32-seitiges Booklet enthalten, das die Anfangsjahre der Band thematisiert. Die Re-Releases werden sowohl auf CD, als auch auf Vinyl und MC erh\u00e4ltlich sein und sind bereits vorbestellbar.<\/p>\n

The New Wave of British Heavy Metal cult band PAGAN ALTAR<\/strong>, widely known for their strong stylistic orientation towards Doom Metal and occultism, releases re-issues of their Albums LORDS OF HYPOCRISY <\/strong>from 2004 and their debut JUDGEMENT OF THE DEAD <\/strong>from 1982, which was officially released for the first time in 2005. After their last posthumous album The Room of Shadows, <\/em>which was released by Temple of Mystery Records <\/em>in 2017, two years after the death of long time singer Terry Jones, <\/em>PAGAN ALTAR <\/strong>announced Brendan Radigan <\/em>of Magic Circle <\/em>as their new singer. A new album is unforeseeable, because guitarist Alan Jones <\/em>is understandably struggling with his brothers death and not yet able to proceed his musical heritage. <\/p>\n
Yet, with the re-releases, of which two other (Mythical & Magical <\/em>from 2006 and the EP The time lord <\/em>from 2004) are scheduled for this year\u00b4s fall, there is a delicacy for fans, because both albums, that are scheduled for 17th of april, are only available second hand for prices over 50 euros and more. Fans of PAGAN ALTAR <\/strong>or bands like Witchfinder General <\/em>and Black Sabbath <\/em>now have the chance to extend their record collections with a remastered version which, in the case of JUDGEMENT OF THE DEAD <\/strong>includes a 32-pages booklet that details the early history of the band. The re-releases will be available as CD, Vinyl and MC and are already available for pre-order. <\/p>\n
