Creeping Death (nichts mit Metallica) stammen aus Denton \/ Texas und brachten am 2. Januar 2018 ihre EP “Specter Of War<\/em>” heraus, die hier nochmal als Re-Release erscheint. Was hier aber anders sein soll, entzieht sich meiner Kenntnis. Komisch finde ich auch, dass die Band seit 4 Jahren existiert und bisher noch kein komplettes Album herausgebracht hat. Dies soll sich aber laut meiner Recherche im Jahre 2019 \u00e4ndern. Ich bin gespannt.<\/p>\n

Beindruckend f\u00fcr mich ist auf jeden Fall schon mal das Coverartwork. Musikalisch gibt es hier im sauberen Oldschool Death Metal Stil ordentlich was auf die M\u00fctze und man bangt selbst am PC mit Kopfh\u00f6rern auf den Lauschern mit und das etwas mehr als 18 Minuten. Die Song sind breitgef\u00e4chert angelegt, will hei\u00dfen: Mal wird im Mid-Tempo, dann mal wieder z\u00fcgiger und mit mehr Geschwindigkeit geritten. Beispiele hierf\u00fcr w\u00e4ren: “Revenge<\/strong>” und “Specter Of War<\/strong>“. Alle anderen bewegen sich irgendwo in der kreativen spielerischen Mitte. <\/p>\n

Fazit: <\/b>Das Quintett aus Texas kann in die Fu\u00dfstapfen der gro\u00dfen Bolt Thrower treten, davon bin ich \u00fcberzeugt!<\/p>\n

Von mir gibt es 9 von 10 Hellfire-Punkten!<\/b><\/p>\n
