Das sch\u00f6ne und spannende an meinem Job ist, dass ich meinen Plattenchef<\/strong>verantwortlichen bitte, mir einfach was zu schicken und ich so auf Bands sto\u00dfe, die ich unter “normalen” Umst\u00e4nden wohl nie kennengelernt, geschweige denn von ihnen \u00fcberhaupt existenziell erfahren h\u00e4tte, so abseits des “normalen”. Danke J\u00f6rg!<\/p>\n

Heute liegt mir ein Quartett aus El Salvador namens INVOCATION OF DEATH<\/em> zum Plattencheck vor. Vertreten auf dem Deb\u00fctalbum “Into The Labyrinth Of Chaos<\/em>” aus dem Jahre 2018 sind sieben Titel (f\u00fcnf in englisch + zwei auf spanisch) und das Ganze hat eine Laufzeit von 35:53 Minuten.<\/p>\n

“Embrace Of Hate<\/strong>” fegt nach einem kurzen Sprach-Intro ordentlich los und legt die Messlatte schon von Anfang an ziemlich hoch. Death Metal in Reinkultur durchflutet meine durch das Headset gesch\u00fctzten Geh\u00f6rg\u00e4nge, mal schleppend, mal treibend. Kreative Geschwindigkeit -und Richtungswechsel sind genauso wie der markant aggressiv stimmliche Gesang von Iosif Najarro pr\u00e4sent. “Letanias Del Caos<\/strong>” und “En El Altar De La Misantropia<\/strong>” sind zwei Songs die f\u00fcr meine Ohren sprachlich ungewohnt klingen, aber nicht minder interessant sind.<\/p>\n

“Solar Crisis<\/strong>” bietet mir rasant schnelle Riffs und donnernde Drums, teilweise ein bisschen im Morbid Angel Stil. Diese Sequenzen sind kurz, aber doch h\u00f6rbar.”Crawling In The Dark<\/strong>” schleppt sich doomig voran, um dann ab und zu aus den Schienen zu springen. “The Convent<\/strong>” haut wieder ordentlich in die Pedale, um zum gr\u00f6\u00dften Teil straight mit messerscharfen Gitarrenl\u00e4ufen zu brillieren und ordentlich Backpfeifen zu verteilen. “The Art Of The Deformed<\/strong>” brilliert noch einmal mit Attacken und kreativen Momenten. F\u00fcr mich neben “Solar Crisis<\/em>” der Favorit auf dem Album.<\/p>\n

Fazit:<\/strong> Ein gelungenes und interessantes Deb\u00fct der Todesmetaller aus Mittelamerika, vor allem so abseits der “normalen” Piste. Muchas Grazias!<\/p>\n
