Italien \u2013 Sommer \u2013 Sonne \u2013 und \u2026. richtig geile Mucke. Die seit 1998 bestehende italienische Formation \u201eAlthea\u201c liefert mit ihrem dritten Album all das ab, was man sich w\u00fcnscht.<\/p>\n

Ein Album, in dem der Gesang nicht durch etwaige Instrumente niedergemacht wird und auch kein Instrument durch den Gesang unterdr\u00fcckt wird. F\u00fcr mich sind bei dieser Band auch \u00c4hnlichkeiten zu \u201eDream Theater” vorhanden, so das Fans dieser Band auch mal hier rein h\u00f6ren sollten.<\/p>\n

Was am meisten beeindruckt, ist die musikalische Vielfalt in den Songs. Harte Riffs, stampfende Drums und melancholische Keyboards. Dies alles verkn\u00fcpfen die Jungs zu einem beeindruckenden Klangteppich, der bei jedem erneuten h\u00f6ren neue Aspekte erkennen l\u00e4sst. Ich k\u00f6nnte jetzt zwar auf jeden einzelnen Song eingehen, aber dann h\u00e4ttet ihr so lange zu lesen, wie die Laufzeit dieser CD ist.<\/p>\n

Bei mir l\u00e4uft, w\u00e4hrend ich dies schreibe, jedenfalls ein Song in Dauerschleife, \u201eEvelyn\u201c mein absoluter Favorit in diesem Album. Ein Song, der mich bei seinen schnelleren Passagen zum Zappeln animiert und mir in seinen ruhigen Passagen das Gef\u00fchl gibt, in einer Wohlf\u00fchlsauna zu sein.<\/p>\n

Also h\u00f6rt rein und bildet euch selbst euer Urteil, f\u00fcr mich jedoch ist dies ein Album, dass ich nicht nur einmal h\u00f6ren werde. Und zur Einstimmung auf das neue Album, hier einen Song aus dem vorherigen Album:<\/p>\n
