“The Similitude Of A Dream”, die zweite Studio-LP der Neal Morse Band<\/strong>, kam vor zwei Jahren auf den Markt. Dieses Doppelalbum ist an John Bunyans Buch “The Pilgrim’s Progress” angelehnt und diente der \u00e4u\u00dferst produktiven Neal Morse Band als gedankliche Vorlage f\u00fcr ihr neues Album.

\nWem das Vorg\u00e4ngeralbum gut gefallen hat, den nimmt das neue Werk “The Great Adventure”<\/strong> sicherlich erneut mit auf seine sehr eigenwillige Reise.

\nIm Einzelnen bemerkt Bassist Randy George: “In Konzept und Form \u00e4hnelt er Similitude, ist aber in seinem Ton h\u00e4rter und tiefer!” Neal Morse<\/strong> stimmt zu, indem er feststellt, dass “The Great Adventure” “eine neue Perspektive brauchte … die des verlassenen Sohnes des Pilgers, eine j\u00fcngere, vielleicht w\u00fctende Stimme”, um sein Potenzial voll auszusch\u00f6pfen. Das Video zum Titelsong “The Great Adventure”, das von Vicente Cordero inszeniert wurde und nun dem erst k\u00fcrzlich erschienenen Lyric-Video “Welcome To The World” folgt, zeigt, wie die Band inmitten von Kunstgest\u00e4nden und Natur performt.<\/p>\n

F\u00fcr den Drummer der Band, Mike Portnoy<\/strong>, ist der Titel “ein gro\u00dfartiges Beispiel f\u00fcr die eher klassische [und] proggy-Seite der Band” Er erg\u00e4nzt: “Wir haben uns in diesem erstaunlichen Schrottplatz in den Bergen von Altadena, Kalifornien niedergelassen, und konnten uns einfach erkunden.
