OF HATRED SPAWN besteht aus JJ Tartaglia (Skull Fist) an den Drums, seinem Bruder Remy Tartaglia an der Gitarre, Oscar Rangel (Ex-Annihilator) am Bass und Matt \u201eColdcuts\u201c Collacott am Gesang. Das Projekt ist das erste kollaborative Angebot der Tartaglia-Br\u00fcder.<\/p>\n

Sieben Titel mit einer Gesamtl\u00e4nge von 29 Minuten sind vertreten und ich treffe auf gutturalen Gesang, treibende Blast-Beat-Drummings, entsprechende Tempowechsel und auf eine straff durchgezogene Geschwindigkeit. So bieten mir die Kanadier eine Atmosph\u00e4re, passend f\u00fcr den aggressiv d\u00e4monischen Sound rund um die Geschichten von Dunkelheit, Sklaverei und Plagen.<\/p>\n

Das d\u00fcster atmosph\u00e4risch am Klavier zelebrierte Intro “Overture<\/strong>” setzt das blasphemisch in T\u00f6ne verfasste H\u00f6llenrad in Gang. Das folgende “Global Dehumanization<\/strong>” hinterl\u00e4sst ein rasiermesserscharfes Chaos. Kompliziert gespielte Riffs, Blast-Beats und entsprechende Grooves vervollst\u00e4ndigen dieses Gemetzel. “Nest Of Vipers<\/strong>” geht in Richtung Old School Death Metal und zwischendurch str\u00f6mt mir ein kleiner Hauch Morbid Angel entgegen. Das Ganze ist nat\u00fcrlich sehr gepr\u00e4gt von Collacotts<\/em> vielf\u00e4ltig hoher und gutturaler Gesangslinie, so wie sie sich auf dem gesamten Album pr\u00e4sentiert.<\/p>\n

“Plage<\/strong>” ist einer meiner Favoriten. Vielf\u00e4ltiger als seine Vorg\u00e4nger werden meine Geh\u00f6rg\u00e4nge treibend maltr\u00e4tiert. Die schrampfenden Gitarrenkl\u00e4nge, die Brutalit\u00e4t und die Schlagkraft zum Ende hin beindrucken mich. “Nocturnal Swarm<\/strong>”  und “God Of Wrath<\/strong>” lassen ganz gewaltig die Muskeln spielen und selbige sp\u00fcre ich im Nacken, zum Ende hin nun nicht mehr.<\/p>\n

Fazit:<\/strong> Hier gibt es ordentlich auf die Wichtelm\u00fctze und f\u00fcr Death-Metal Fans wie mich ist dieses Album definitiv ein Highlight!<\/p>\n
