Eine personelle Neuausrichtung der Gelsenkirchener Thrash Urgesteine SODOM im Fr\u00fchjahr 2018 sorgte kurzzeitig f\u00fcr Schlagzeilen. Die einen buhten, die anderen klatschten. Mir ist es eigentlich v\u00f6llig Hupe wer mit wem zusammenspielt, Hauptsache es klingt und gef\u00e4llt. Die neue Besetzung besteht aus Frank Blackfire (Gitarre, Ex- Sodom, Ex- Kreator, Assassin), Yorck Segatz (Gitarre, Beyondition), Husky (Schlagzeug, Asphyx, Desaster) und nat\u00fcrlich Tom Angelripper.<\/p>\n

Zwei Studiotracks und einer Live vom Rock Hard Festival 2018 sind auf der EP vertreten. Was soll ich zu “Partisan<\/strong>” und “Conflagration<\/strong>” sagen bzw. schreiben? Okay hier kommt es: einfach zwei krachende Bretter, die mir und dann auch Euch frontal die Kinnlade weghauen. Puh, was freue ich mich die Herren im Januar Live zu erleben!<\/p>\n

Mit Livetracks oder auch Livealben habe ich<\/em> generell meine kleinen “Probleme”. F\u00fcr mich fehlt das Visuelle oder ich war genau dort vor Ort mit dabei, um das Gesehene nochmal auf mich wirken zu lassen. Egal, wie auch immer. “Tired & Red<\/strong>” vom “Agent Orange” Album aus dem Jahre 1989 kommt nat\u00fcrlich schn\u00f6rkellos und ohne Kompromisse daher, donnert die Atmosph\u00e4re aus den Boxen in mein Zimmer, also habe ich doch ein wenig Live in heimischen Gefilden. <\/p>\n

Die Band befindet sich im Studio und ich bin gespannt auf das ganze Werk. Wer es bis dahin nicht aushalten kann, m\u00f6chte oder will, dem empfehle ich uneingeschr\u00e4nkt dies EP, auch wenn es nur die Vorspeise vor dem Hauptgericht ist. Mahlzeit!<\/p>\n
