Pallbearer European Summer Tour 2018<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

Pallbearer<\/strong> sind aus Little Rock im Bundesstaat Arkansas und machen sensationellen Doom Metal. Ein Genre mit Tradition, eingeleitet durch das Deb\u00fct von Black Sabbath 1970, von Pentagram, Saint Vitus und Candlemass in den 80ern weitergef\u00fchrt. Deshalb besteht f\u00fcr Pallbearer keinerlei Grund, den Altar mit sparsamen Mitteln zu dekorieren. Die Band geht den ganzen Weg, sie kleckert nicht, sie klotzt. Wenn schon der alte Vatter Doom herhalten muss, dann richtig, dann so massiv und pfundschwer, wie es nur geht.<\/p>\n

Die Gitarren bilden das tonnenschwere Fundament, sie sind gnadenlos tief gestimmt, sodass das Schlagzeug geradezu raschelt. Den Kontrast dazu stellt S\u00e4nger und Gitarrist Brett Campbell her. Seine Stimme ist hell und erinnert interessanterweise an den jungen Ozzy Osbourne. Zum Anf\u00fcttern der Songs trauen sich gar akustische Gitarren ins Dickicht, blo\u00df um platt gewalzt zu werden.<\/p>\n

Das aufstrebende Arkansas-Progressive Doom-Quartett wird im Juliund August f\u00fcr einige EU\/UK-Shows und -Festivalauftritte \u00fcber den gro\u00dfen Teich begeben. Zur Feier ihrer R\u00fcckkehr hat die Band heute ein offizielles Livevideo zum Track ‘Thorns’, der von ihrem aktuellen Werk \u00bbHeartless<\/strong>\u00ab stammt, ver\u00f6ffentlicht. Dieses ist im Februar w\u00e4hrend ihrer US-Tour entstanden und kann hier angeschaut werden:<\/p>\n

<\/iframe><\/span><\/p>\nDie Tour beginnt am 13. Juli in Hamburg und wird die Truppe durch zw\u00f6lf L\u00e4nder f\u00fchren. Dabei stehen 21 Club- und Festivalshows auf dem Plan, ehe das gro\u00dfe Finale am 16.
