Am 06.07.2018 ver\u00f6ffentlicht das amerikanische Groove Metal Quintett DEVILDRIVER<\/strong> ihr neuestes Werk. Das wird lauten auf den Namen OUTLAWS ‘TIL THE END<\/strong> und beinhaltet nur Cover Versionen amerikanischer Country Songs. Ja genau, richtig gelesen. Country!<\/p>\n

Was die Band dazu bewegte erkl\u00e4rt Frontmann Dez Fafara<\/em> wie folgt: “Blues- und Outlaw-Country ist das was Rock’n’Roll ausmacht. Und das gab es schon vor dem Rock’n’Roll …in meinem Kopf habe ich diese Songs immer als “heavy” geh\u00f6rt. Textlich sind dies einige der ergreifendsten Songs auf dem Planeten. Sie passen also sehr gut zum schweren Genre … wie man h\u00f6ren kann!”
\n<\/em>Weiter meint er: “Wir wussten, dass es mindestens drei Jahre bis zum n\u00e4chsten Devildriver-Album dauern w\u00fcrde, also wollte ich den Leuten etwas zum verdauen geben, w\u00e4hrend wir weiterschreiben.<\/em>”<\/p>\n

Und was sich die Jungs da ausgedacht haben ist tats\u00e4chlich sehr gelungen. Dabei konnte man einige namhafte Gastmusiker an Land ziehen. Hank lll, John Carter Cash & Ana Cristina Cash, Randy Blythe<\/em> und Mark Morton<\/em> von ‘Lamb of God<\/em>‘, Brock Lindow<\/em> von ’36 CrazyFists’, Lee Ving<\/em> von ‘Fear’ und Burton C Bell<\/em> von ‘Fear Factory’<\/p>\n

Schon der Opener COUNTRY HEROES mit Hank III<\/em> als Gast Vocalist, sowie GHOSTRIDERS IN THE SKY mit John Carter Cash, Ana Christina Cash<\/em> und den beiden ‘Lamb Of God’ Musikern sind derart gut gelungen und machen einfach nur Spa\u00df. Melodic Death Country, Western Death Metal. Egal wie man es nennen mag. Das Album wird der Knaller, die Idee einfach zu genial. Und man denkt wohl schon \u00fcber einen Nachfolger nach. Jiiii Haaa!<\/strong><\/p>\n
