Wir schreiben das Jahr 1984 und Saxon ver\u00f6ffentlichen “Crusader<\/em>“, dass zu diesem Zeitpunkt sechste Album der Briten. Zugegeben, das Album ist leicht Mainstream angehaucht zumindest aus meiner Sicht, aber warum auch nicht? Zu dieser Zeit mussten auch schon andere Kontinente “erobert” werden. <\/p>\n

Insgesamt ist das Album f\u00fcr mich nicht das Beste von Saxon, aber trotzdem geh\u00f6rt es in meine Sammlung, denn es ist auch eine Art Zeitreise zur\u00fcck, zum Tage der Ver\u00f6ffentlichung, 17 Jahr – langes, lockiges Haar (meines nat\u00fcrlich). Sch\u00f6ne musikalische Momente f\u00fcr meine Ohren gibt es aber allemal, egal ob beim epischen “Crusader<\/strong>“, den groovig treibenden “A Little Bit Of What You Fancy<\/strong>” (obwohl hier der Refrain sehr catchy ist…a little Bit…..) und “Rock City<\/strong>“, der wundersch\u00f6nen Ballade “Do It All For You<\/strong>“, der Coverversion “Set Me Free<\/strong>” von Sweet aus dem Jahre 1974 (es gefallen mir beide) oder dem melodisch rockenden Rauschmeisser “Run For Your Lives<\/strong>“. Der Bonus – Die Kaley Studio Demos September 1983, sind perfekte Zugaben hier auf dieser Edition, die das Ganze abrunden.<\/p>\n

In dieser Edition bekommt der H\u00f6rer maximales an L\u00e4nge, n\u00e4mlich 79:25 min. und nat\u00fcrlich Qualit\u00e4t, wenn auch anders geboten. Dieses Album ist weicher als seine Vorg\u00e4nger, aber trotzdem h\u00f6renswert!<\/p>\n
