Eine Wiederver\u00f6ffentlichung aus dem Jahr 1994. Frontline, bekannt f\u00fcr melodischen Hardrock, kommt hier, neu abgemischt, mir digitalem Sound um die Ecke. Und State Of Rock ist definitiv, in diesem Bereich, eines der herausragenden Alben der 1990er Jahre.<\/p>\n

Bereits 1989 gegr\u00fcndet, dauerte es doch 5 Jahre bis das Deb\u00fctalbum erschien. Aber, das Warten hat sich gelohnt. Nur wenige Deb\u00fctalben sind so eingeschlagen. Die Harmonielinien, gepaart mit dem Gesang von Stephan K\u00e4mmerer sind bis heute unvergleichlich. Auch international konnte die Truppe gr\u00f6\u00dfere Erfolge feiern.<\/p>\n

Manch einer mag sich jetzt fragen ob es Sinn macht ein 24 Jahre altes Album erneut zu ver\u00f6ffentlichen. Weil, das kann ja nicht mehr zeitgem\u00e4\u00df sein, ist doch musikalisch bestimmt \u00fcberholt. Doch dem muss ich deutlich widersprechen: h\u00f6rt Euch das Album an. Es ist absolut up to date, wirkt modern, frisch, aktuell. Entweder waren Frontline damals ihrer Zeit voraus, oder sie haben zeitlose Musik geschrieben. Ich pers\u00f6nlich denke eher letzteres, aber das mag jeder f\u00fcr sich selbst entscheiden. <\/p>\n

Als Anspieltipps m\u00f6chte ich Heaven Knows, Endless, Victim Of Madness und It’s Not Over nennen.<\/p>\n

Mein Fazit: damals wie heute top!<\/p>\n
