English version below<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n Mit dem Hellfire Quick5 Interview versuchen wir f\u00fcr unsere Leser m\u00f6glichst interessante Infos aus den Musikern rauszukitzeln, ohne dass sie sich seitenlangen Fragen\/Antworten hingeben m\u00fcssen. Wir vom Hellfire bem\u00fchen uns dabei, (mehr oder weniger) kurz und pr\u00e4gnant im Rahmen von 5 Fragen zu agieren (manchmal kann eine Frage auch gedoppelt oder getrippelt sein); den Musikern obliegt es, nach ihrem Gutd\u00fcnken zu antworten: kurz und knapp bis hin zu ausschweifend und umfangreich.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n Heute sprechen wir mit Rich von Stone Broken, die gerade ihr Album “Ain’t Always Easy” ver\u00f6ffentlicht haben. <\/p>\n HF: Zuerst einmal: Gl\u00fcckwunsch zum neuen Album, das ja bereits ziemlich erfolgreich in die Charts eures Heimatlandes eingestiegen ist. Da ihr noch eine recht junge Band seid, werden euch einige unserer Leser noch nicht kennen. Stellt euch doch bitte vor.<\/strong><\/p>\n SB:<\/strong> Vielen Dank! Wir sind eine Rockband aus Walsall\/Gro\u00dfbritannien und bestehen seit 2013, aber es hat gut ein Jahr gedauert, bis wir \u00fcberhaupt angefangen haben, Liveshows zu spielen. Dieses Jahr haben wir damit verbracht an unseren Songs und unserem Sound zu arbeiten. Seitdem haben wir zwei Alben heraus gebracht, sind durch Europa getourt und haben f\u00fcr unser neuestes Album einen Vertrag bei Spinefarm Records unterschrieben.<\/em><\/p>\n <\/p>\n HF: Als ihr 2016 euer in Eigenproduktion erstelltes Debut ver\u00f6ffentlicht habt, h\u00e4ttet ihr da gedacht, dass ihr das alles erreichen w\u00fcrdet – eure Songs auf Planet Rock, ein Vertrag bei Spinefarm Records und eine Headliner-Tour durch Europa? Was habt ihr damals erwartet?<\/strong><\/p>\n SB:<\/strong> Wir wussten nicht wirklich was wir zu erwarten hatten, bis zu diesem Zeitpunkt hatte noch keiner von uns ein Album mit einer Band ver\u00f6ffentlicht, von daher wussten wir noch nicht mal, ob wir alles richtig machen! Wir haben einfach das getan, was sich richtig angef\u00fchlt hat und hart gearbeitet und es scheint als h\u00e4tte es funktioniert. Wir waren total \u00fcberw\u00e4ltigt von den Reaktionen, die wir auf die erste Platte erhalten haben, wir hatten viel Unterst\u00fctzung durch Radiosender, Magazine und Festivalveranstalter und wir sind sehr dankbar so wundervolle Fans zu haben.<\/em><\/p>\n <\/p>\n HF: Derzeit tourt ihr durch Deutschland. Wie gef\u00e4llt es euch? Was ist euer Eindruck und was war das Ungew\u00f6hnlichste, das bisher auf Tour passiert ist?<\/strong><\/p>\n SB:<\/strong> Es ist toll au\u00dferhalb von Gro\u00dfbritannien touren zu k\u00f6nnen, man lernt fremde Kulturen kennen, besucht unterschiedliche St\u00e4dte, aber alles sehr kurz. Das erste Mal waren wir letztes Jahr als Support f\u00fcr Glenn Hughes in Deutschland und freuen uns, dass wir wieder hier sind und noch mehr Shows spielen k\u00f6nnen… Das Feedback ist hier immer toll, die Deutschen m\u00f6gen offenbar gute Rockkonzerte! Auf dieser Tour ist nichts ungew\u00f6hnliches passiert… was an sich schon komisch ist, da es normal immer irgendwelche Geschichten zu erz\u00e4hlen gibt, aber dieses Mal lief alles perfekt.<\/em><\/p>\n <\/p>\n HF: Was meint ihr, wer hatte den gr\u00f6\u00dften Einfluss auf eure Musik? Wer sind eure Idole?<\/strong><\/p>\n SB:<\/strong> Wir h\u00f6ren viel amerikanischen Rock wie Alter Bridge, Shinedown, Halestorm… die Liste ist endlos. Wir versuchen unsere eingen Interpretation dieser Art von Musik zu spielen und wahrscheinlich kann man die Einfl\u00fcsse auch in unseren Songs h\u00f6ren. Wir schreiben einfach Songs, die wir selbst geren h\u00f6ren w\u00fcrden.<\/em><\/p>\n <\/p>\n HF: Wenn ihr einen Song als eine Art “Visitenkarte” f\u00fcr euch ausw\u00e4hlen m\u00fcsstet, welcher w\u00e4re das und warum?<\/strong><\/p>\n SB:<\/strong> Ich w\u00fcrde sagen “Heartbreak Away” von unserem neuen Album, weil es all unsere “charakteristischen” Sounds in einem Song vereinigt. Es hat Groove, wuchtige Gitarren, Riffs und einen energiegeladenen Chorus! It\u2019s up to the musicians to answer short, longer or excessively.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n Today we talk to Rich from Stone Broken, who just released their album \u201cAin\u2019t Always Easy\u201d.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n HF: First of all: Congratulations to your new album, which is already quite successful and hit the charts in your home country. Since you are a quite young band, some of our readers don\u2019t know you yet. Introduce yourself, please.<\/strong><\/p>\n SB:<\/strong> Thank you very much! We are a Rock band from Walsall in the UK, we started back in 2013, but we didn\u2019t really start playing live shows until around a year after that when we had worked on our material and our sound. Since then, we have released 2 albums, toured around Europe and signed to Spinefarm Records for our latest album.<\/em><\/p>\n <\/em><\/p>\n HF: When you released your self-published debut in 2016, would you have imagined yourself achieving what you did – with your songs playing on Planet Rock, a contract with Spinefarm and a headliner tour throughout Europe? What did you expect back than?<\/strong><\/p>\n SB:<\/strong> We didn\u2019t really know what to expect, up until that point none of us had ever released an album with a band, so we didn\u2019t even know if we were doing it right! We just kind of went with what felt right and worked hard and that seems to have worked for us. We were totally blown away with the response we had to the first record, we had a lot of support from radio, magazines and festivals and we are truly grateful that our fans are so awesome! <\/em><\/p>\n <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n HF: Right now you\u2019re on tour in Germany. How do you like it? What is your impression and what was the weirdest thing that happened on tour?<\/strong><\/p>\n SB:<\/strong> It\u2019s great being able to tour outside of the UK, you get to experience different cultures, visit different cities\u2026although, usually very briefly. We first came over to Germany last year when we were supporting Glenn Hughes, so it\u2019s great to be able to come back and play more shows over here\u2026we always get a great response, you guys really like a good rock show! Nothing weird has happened on this tour\u2026which is weird in itself, usually there would be a load of stories to tell, but it all went perfectly! <\/em><\/p>\n <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n HF: What would you say, who had the most influence on your music? Who are your idols?<\/strong><\/p>\n SB:<\/strong> We listen to a lot of American rock, from bands like Alter Bridge, Shinedown, Halestorm\u2026the list could go on and on. What we try and do is play our own interpretation of that style of music, and you can probably hear some of those influences come through in our music. We just write songs that we would want to listen to ourselves.<\/em><\/p>\n <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n HF: If you had to pick one song as a \u201cbusiness card\u201d which one would it be and why? <\/strong><\/p>\n SB:<\/strong> I would say \u201cHeartbeat Away\u201d off our new record, it has all of our \u2018signature\u2019 sounds all rolled in to one song.
