Ich wei\u00df noch wie ich ihr Deb\u00fctalbum “Scum<\/em>” aus dem Jahre 1987 gefeiert habe. Bis dato war mir diese musikalische Aggressivit\u00e4t noch nirgends zu Ohren gekommen. Auch der Nachfolger “From Enslavement to Obliteration<\/i>” fand den Weg in meine Geh\u00f6rg\u00e4nge. Auf beiden Alben waren jeweils 25 Titel mit einer Spielzeit von knapp \u00fcber 30 Minuten vertreten. Da wei\u00df man oder man kann es sich ausmalen, wie die sprichw\u00f6rtliche Post abging. Aus der Gr\u00fcndung, den damaligen Mitgliedern ist nur noch Bassist Shane Embury \u00fcbrig. Trotz alledem geh\u00f6ren Napalm Death aus meiner Sicht immer noch zur Speerspitze des Grindcores, des Genres.<\/p>\n Die mir nun vorliegende Doppel-CD \u201eCoded Smears And More Uncommon Slurs<\/em>\u201d beinhaltet 31 Songs in 90 Minuten, also eine feine und interessante Best Of voller Rarit\u00e4ten, B-Sides, Bonustracks und Coversongs aus der Phase zwischen 2004 und 2016, die ich jedem Grindcore Freund und Fan ans Herz legen kann. Einfach mal eineinhalb Stunden geh\u00f6rig auf die extrem musikalische M\u00fctze bekommen und dies auch noch genie\u00dfen. Viel Spa\u00df dabei. F\u00fcr mich war es ein Genuss.
