33 Jahre agieren die italienischen Thrasher NECRODEATH<\/strong> nun im Untergrund. Das elfte Album steht jetzt in den Startl\u00f6chern. Sie waren eine der ersten italienischen Thrash Bands, trennten sich 1989 vorr\u00fcbergehend, um neun Jahre sp\u00e4ter wieder zusammenzufinden. Ihre selbst genannten Einfl\u00fcsse wie “Slayer”, “Possessed”, “Kreator”, “Celtic Frost” und “Bathory” lassen sich auf dem neuesten Output  THE AGE OF DEAD CHRIST<\/strong> auch nicht verbergen.<\/p>\n

Hier ging man bewusst zur\u00fcck zu den Wurzeln und kn\u00fcppelt in einer guten halbe Stunde Old School Thrash mit Achziger-Charme, der gerne mal das schwarze Leibchen \u00fcberstreift. Und gerade der gute deutsche Thrash Metal hat einen gro\u00dfen Anteil am Sound. Besonders deutlich wird das beim Gesang, der mich nicht selten an “Mille Petrozza”(‘Kreator’) erinnert. Und das ist auch schon das Problem der Scheibe. Die neun kompromisslosen Songs bieten nichts Neues. Keine Spannung. Alles schon hundert Mal geh\u00f6rt.<\/p>\n

Einfache Strukturen, zwei, h\u00f6chstens drei Riffs pro Song und das obligatorische Solo. So weit, so langweilig. Hin und wieder gibt es schon mal derbe Growls oder b\u00f6se Schreie, richtig Abwechslung kommt nur bei THE REVENGE OF THE WITCHES und dem Titelsong THE AGE OF DEAD CHRIST auf. Da kann zudem die Songstruktur gefallen. Doch insgesamt zu wenig um im 21. Jahrhundert neue Akzente im Thrash zu setzen. Da gibt es deutlich spannenderes allein schon in diesem Jahr. PECCATO!<\/p>\n
