Ich mache weder Musik, die revolution\u00e4r ist, noch radiotauglich. <\/p>\n HF: Was sind Deine weiteren Plane nach “Oceanography”? <\/strong><\/p>\n CB:<\/strong> Ich habe eine Menge Ideen, wohin mein Weg gehen soll. What do you like to convey to your fans? <\/strong><\/p>\n CB:<\/strong> For many years music has been an important channel for me to let things out. <\/p>\n HF: Is there a singer, you like to perform together as a duet? <\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n CB:<\/strong> Sia!<\/em><\/p>\n <\/p>\n HF: Do you have musical ideals? <\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n CB:<\/strong> I certainly don\u2019t have any designs on becoming a star. <\/p>\n HF: What is your future plans after “Oceanography”? <\/strong><\/p>\n CB:<\/strong><\/em><\/strong> I\u2019ve thrown around a lot of ideas about where I want to go from here. Who knows which ones are true. I don\u2019t think even I know yet. My phone\u2019s voice memo app is chock full of new melodies I\u2019ve come up with, mostly while walking my dog, so I\u2019ve got plenty to be getting started with. I want to make an album that\u2019s very true to who I am. I think. Or maybe I want to make an album that has nothing to do with me at all. It\u2019s gonna be fun. \nWir waren an einem Wochenende bei Freunden und ich war ein nerviger Qu\u00e4lgeist.
\nIch musste unterhalten werden und unsere Freunde kramten ihre riesige VHS Queen Sammlung hervor, damit ich sie mir ansehen konnte.
\nUnd bereits beim dritten Song der \u201eGreatest Flix 1\u201c war ich komplett s\u00fcchtig danach.
\nAn meinem n\u00e4chsten Geburtstag bekam ich eine Gitarre. Das war allerdings eine normale Akustikgitarre also nicht das, was ich mir vorstellte, um Brian May zu imitieren.
\nSchnell war ich gelangweilt.
\nAls Teenager kam aber das Interesse zur\u00fcck und zu meinem n\u00e4chsten Geburtstag gabs dann eine elektrische Gitarre, mit der ich dann an meinen Rock Moves arbeiten konnte.
\nUm ehrlich zu sein hoffte ich darauf, S\u00e4nger in einer Band zu sein; aber keiner meiner Freunde an der High School spielte Gitarre, so dass ich dann entschied, beides zu machen. <\/em><\/em><\/em><\/em><\/em><\/em><\/em><\/em><\/p>\n
\nIch wei\u00df, dass sich bei einigen Leuten die Fu\u00dfn\u00e4gel kr\u00e4useln, wenn der Liedermacher in mir herauskommt. Aber ich kann mich nicht verstellen.
\nIch denke, dass ich viele Dinge vage genug halte, damit sich jeder seine eigenen Gedanken dazu machen kann.
\nMeine Freunde verstehen genau, was ich mit meinen Songs ausdr\u00fccken will; Leute, die mich nicht kennen reflektieren wahrscheinliche Teile ihres eigenen Lebens in die Songs.<\/em><\/em><\/em><\/em><\/p>\n
\nIch habe mich in meiner Musikkarriere (sofern Du es so nennen willst \u2013 ist tue das nicht) in unterschiedliche Genres bewegt; in unterschiedlichen Welten.
\nEinfach um ich selbst zu sein.
\nIch will Musik machen, die ich selbst mag. Mit meinen Freunden zusammenzuarbeiten und in kleinen Clubs zu spielen, wo keine Erwartungen an mich gestellt werden und ich den direkten Kontakt zum Publikum habe. Ich m\u00f6chte einfach singen; that\u2019s it.<\/em><\/em><\/em><\/em><\/p>\n
\nMein Handy ist voll von neuen Melodien, die mir meistens beim Sparziergang mit meinem Hund einfallen.
\nAlso jede Menge, womit ich weitermachen kann.

Hellfire\u2018s Quick 5 interviews try to give lot of info within narrow frame of five questions and five answers. Sometimes can happen, that one question consists of two or three.
\nIt\u2019s up to musicians to answer short, longer or excessively. <\/em><\/strong><\/em><\/strong><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
\nWe spent a weekend with some close family friends and, being an annoying little brat, I needed something to keep me entertained, so they got out their huge collection of Queen VHS tapes for me to go through, and by about the third track of Greatest Flix 1 I was completely hooked.
\nI got a guitar for my next birthday, although it was more your nylon strung classical type than the sort of the thing I could jump around my house imitating Brian May with, so I got bored fairly quickly.
\nIt wasn\u2019t until my teens that I got interested again, and for my next birthday specified an ELECTRIC guitar so I could get working on my rock moves\u2026to be honest I was actually hoping to be the singer in a band, but none of my friends in high school at the time played guitar, so I decided I would just have to do both to make things easier\u2026<\/em><\/p>\n
\nI know some people can curl their toes a bit when it comes to the woe-is-me balladeer type, but I can\u2019t change what I am.
\nI like to think that I manage to keep things oblique enough that the listener can hang their own meaning around the words I write. For my friends, they can probably pick up on what most of the songs are about, but maybe for a listener who doesn\u2019t know me so well, they can find something in there to reflect something in their own life.<\/em><\/p>\n
\nMaybe when I was younger I did, but I don\u2019t any more. I don\u2019t think I\u2019m making music that\u2019s particularly revolutionary or anything, nor is much of it particularly radio-friendly either.
\nI\u2019ve spent much of my musical \u2018career\u2019 (If you want to call it that\u2026which I don\u2019t\u2026) to date floating in-between genres, in-between worlds, kind of just being myself and getting away with it.
\nI just want to keep making music that I like, keeping working with my friends, keep playing shows in small places where you can forget all of the expectations of \u2018putting on a show\u2019 and just have some real connections with people. I just want to sing. That\u2019s about it.<\/em><\/p>\n
