Mit ihrem \u00dcberalbum “Youngblood” hatten sich die Norweger um Frontmann Toschie die Messlatte erstmal unreissbar hochgelegt. Der Nachfolger “Pure Heavy” konnte entsprechend nur scheitern, wenn auch auf hohem Niveau, denn zweimal nacheinander ein solches Album abzuliefern schafft eigentlich keiner.<\/p>\n

2018 nehmen Audrey Horne mit ihrem sechstem Album “Blackout” einen erneuten Anlauf, sich selber zu \u00fcbertrumpfen. Und die beiden Vorab-Singles weisen eine derma\u00dfen steile Erfolgskurve auf, dass die Bedingungen ideal sind f\u00fcr dieses Vorhaben.<\/p>\n

Brilliantes Songwriting f\u00fchrt zur perfekten Symbiose von Melodie und Lyrics. Insbesondere der Track “This Is War” setzt mit seinem typischen Audrey Horne-Charakter die Reihe der gro\u00dfen Hymne der norwegischen Band fort. Wenn 2018 so anf\u00e4ngt, kann es doch nur ein geniales Jahr werden, zumindest musikalisch.<\/p>\n
