Gerade einmal gut f\u00fcnf Monate nach Erscheinen Ihres Albums “Follow Me” legen die Schweden LIV SIN mit einer – nicht auf dem aktuellen Album enthaltenen – neuen Single “King Of The Damned” nach. Hierf\u00fcr hat sich die Band um Frontfrau Liv Jagrell mit der schwedischen Tierschutzorganisation Djurens R\u00e4tt zusammen getan und wollen mit dem Song auf die vom Aussterben bedrohte Tierwelt aufmerksam zu machen. Der Text geht auf eine Ausstellung des Fotografen Nick Brandt zur\u00fcck, der Bilder von ehemals von Tieren bewohnten Gegenden schoss, die nun verlassen und verm\u00fcllt sind. Bezugnehmend auf “Der K\u00f6nig der L\u00f6wen” bef\u00fcrchtet Liv, das es bald keinen K\u00f6nig des Dschungels mehr geben wird, sondern vielmehr einen K\u00f6nig der Verdammten.<\/p>\n

Musikalisch gesehen h\u00e4tte “King Of The Damned” auch wunderbar auf “Follow Me” gepasst. Der Song ist ein klassischer Up-Tempo Metal Song mit einem wunderbar eing\u00e4ngiger Melodie und Mitsing-Chorus. Und das Liv Jagrell \u00fcber eine ordentliche Rock R\u00f6hre verf\u00fcgt, d\u00fcrfte weithin bekannt sein.<\/p>\n

F\u00fcr Fans der Band absolut Pflicht, Anh\u00e4nger klassischen Metals d\u00fcrften ebenfalls auf ihre Kosten kommen.<\/p>\n
