Da liegt mir mal wieder ein Scheibchen vor, welches eigentlich schon ungeh\u00f6rt als Klassiker einzuordnen ist.
\nDie Rede ist vom ersten regul\u00e4ren Album der Cleveland Band Vatican!<\/p>\n

Na und? Was ist das Besondere daran?
\nDas Besondere ist, dass Vatican bereits seit 1985 existieren (von 1994-2011 war eine gro\u00dfe Schaffenspause) und gerade mal vier Demos ver\u00f6ffentlicht haben: 1986 das \u201eRehearsal Demo\u201c, im selben Jahr \u201eRepent Or Burn\u201c, 1989 \u201ePower Is Obsession\u201c und 1990 Answer To The Master\u201c.<\/p>\n

Diese Demos gelten heute als Kultobjekte; 2014 wurden dann die Songs auf einem Compilation Album das erste Mal als CD ver\u00f6ffentlicht.<\/p>\n

\u201eMarch Of The Kings\u201c ist nun, nach 31 (!!) Jahren das erste regul\u00e4re Output der Amis und spiegelt von A bis Z die geilen 80er Zeiten des US Powermetals wieder.<\/p>\n

\u201eAlive To The Grave\u201c, \u201eFears Garden\u201c oder \u201cDie A Heart Attack\u201d sind drei Beispiele f\u00fcr packenden Vatikan Metal.<\/p>\n

Um die Band stilistisch zu charakterisieren, nenne ich mal Malice, Savage Grace Helstar oder Crimson Glory.
\nWer sich im 80er Jahre US Powermetal zu Hause f\u00fchlt, der kommt um Vatican nicht herum!<\/p>\n
