Ich bin schon sehr \u00fcberrascht, als ich die Scheibe von Beachheads auflege; bei einer Norwegischen Band erwartet man eher etwas D\u00fcsteres, Deprimierendes.<\/p>\n

Stattdessen knallt der Vierer recht unbeschwerte aufgekratzte Songs durch die Boxen und lie\u00dfe vermuten, dass die Musikerg\u00fcsse eher in England oder Amerika entstanden seien.<\/p>\n

Beachheads machen gitarrenorientierten Rock, der f\u00fcr mich hier und da Anleihen an den guten alten britischen Punk der Siebziger erkennen l\u00e4sst aber auch durchaus von Green Day beeinflusst sein k\u00f6nnte: \u201eYour highness\u201c, \u201eReverberations\u201c oder \u201eAddiction not love\u201c lassen eindeutig diesen Einschlag erkennen.<\/p>\n

Und so geht es vom ersten bis zum letzten Song, derer es zw\u00f6lf auf dem selbstbetitelten Album gibt.
\nAusf\u00e4lle? Nee, nicht wirklich; allerdings fehlt mir hier aber auch der ein oder andere Song, der aus der Masse der St\u00fccke heraussticht und h\u00e4ngenbleibt.<\/p>\n

Somit k\u00f6nnen Beachheads alle die begeistern, die nebenbei etwas positive Mucke haben wollen, ohne sich zu sehr darum zu scheren, um welche Band es sich handelt.<\/p>\n
