P\u00fcnktlich zu ihrem 20!! J\u00e4hrigen Bestehen, hauen die Nord-Kalifornier einen echten Nackenbrecher raus. Heavy Metal as it\u00b4s finest ist die Devise und erinnert einen soundm\u00e4\u00dfig stark an IRON MAIDEN, HELLOWEEN, UNISONIC.. klassisch, aber nie langweilig. Mit einer Ausnahme geht jeder Song min. 6 Minuten. Trotz allem wirken diese 6 Minuten nicht zu lang und hat interessante Riffs und Tempi zu bieten.<\/p>\n

Mit dem Opener “FORTUNE AND GLORY” geht es gleich mal richtig zur Sache. Ein Riff der alles zers\u00e4gt und das dazugeh\u00f6rige Tempo lassen die fast 7 Minuten vorbeiziehen wie im Flug. “GRAB THE SUN” beginnt dann etwas schleppender grooviger nur um kurz darauf wieder das Tempo anzuziehen. Wieder \u00fcber knapp 7 Minuten, gibt es so manche Wendung und Tempowechsel.<\/p>\n

Der “Rausschmei\u00dfer” “TAKE ME TO THE SKIES” bietet dann noch mal alles auf und beendet dieses Album standesgem\u00e4\u00df. Die gut 40 Minuten bieten zwar wenig neues aber sind weit davon entfernt langweilig zu sein. Trotz der doch ungew\u00f6hnlichen L\u00e4nge der Songs kommen einem diese nicht so lang vor und man genie\u00dft, eher als das man abwinkt.
