Spidergawd<\/strong> sind einfach Spidergawd<\/strong>. Sie ver\u00e4ndern sich von Album zu Album eigentlich \u00fcberhaupt nicht. Aber das m\u00fcssen sie auch gar nicht. Denn sie haben nicht nur ihre Formel gefunden. Ihre Formel ist so pr\u00e4gnant, dass man die Band sp\u00e4testens beim Einsatz des Gesangs erkennt. Fans wissen nat\u00fcrlich nach Sekunden schon Bescheid. Denn der Signature-Sound von Spidergawd<\/strong> ist schlicht unverkennbar.<\/p>\n

Nicht nur das: Spidergawd<\/strong> ist eine Band, die mich in meiner aktuellen Lebenslage vielleicht noch mehr abholt als zuvor. Die Rede ist von einem Rockmusik-fanatischen Fourty-Something, der zwar noch einiges an Drive in sich sp\u00fcrt, der aber ein bisschen wehm\u00fctig ist, weil er erkennt, dass die ganz wilden Zeiten dann halt doch schon hinter ihm liegen.<\/p>\n

Stichwort Drive: Der Drive von Spidergawd<\/strong>, er ist auf “Spidergawd VII<\/strong>” wieder einmal “undeniable”, er ist v\u00f6llig unbestreitbar. Genauso unbestreitbar gut und verf\u00e4nglich sind die hymnischen, oft leicht melancholisch angehauchten Refrains. Und genau dieser Drive, gepaart mit dieser latenten Melancholie, ist das, womit mich Spidergawd<\/strong> so sehr abholt. Die Band ist im Sp\u00e4tjahr 2023 wieder ein ganz, ganz wesentlicher Teil des “Soundtracks of my Life”.<\/p>\n
