White Tundra<\/strong> kommen aus dem norwegischen Trondheim und legen nach einer EP und einer Single nun ihren ersten Longplayer vor. Darauf zu h\u00f6ren gibt es generischen Stoner Metal, bei dem quasi alles so l\u00e4uft, wie man sich das vorstellt. Das ist einerseits gut so, andererseits nicht. Konkret: Die Band hat ein tolles Gesp\u00fcr f\u00fcr schnittige Riffs, die sich Gerne-weit wirklich nicht verstecken brauchen. \u00dcberraschend ist auf dem Album aber ehrlich gesagt gar nichts.<\/p>\n

Der leicht angeraute Gesang ist gef\u00e4llig, klingt aber so, wie man ihn von zig anderen Stoner-Bands kennt. Gleiches gilt f\u00fcr die zwar funktionale, aber doch etwas fantasielose Rhythmus-Sektion (muss man denn wirklich immer am Crash-Becken kleben, liebe Stoner-Drummer?). Die Produktion tut, was sie soll. Letztendlich h\u00f6rt man diesen Sound gef\u00fchlt aber auf jedem zweiten Stoner-Album.<\/p>\n

Kurzum: Ich w\u00fcnsche White Tundra<\/strong> mehr Mut zur Abenteuerlust, mehr Lust auf die Selbstfindung als auf das, was zig andere Bands schon machen. Dann werden den es beim n\u00e4chsten Mal auch mehr als 6 von 10 Hellfire-Punkten<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
