Kadabra<\/strong> bleiben sich auf ihrem zweiten Album stilistisch treu, machen aber einen Sprung nach vorne in Sachen Songwriting. Hei\u00dft konkret: Der ohnehin schon eing\u00e4ngige Trad Doom der Band aus Spokane im US-Bundesstaat Washington geht jetzt noch leichter ins Ohr. Es ist schon aller Ehren wert, was Gitarrist und S\u00e4nger Garrett Zanol da an sowas von verf\u00e4nglichen Vocals raushaut. Auch die Instrumentierung l\u00e4sst nichts zu w\u00fcnschen \u00fcbrig: quasi fr\u00fche Black Sabbath plus John Lord an der Hammond-Orgel. Alles t\u00f6fte also?<\/p>\n

Leider nicht, denn die Band hat sich einen mir pers\u00f6nlich viel zu l\u00e4rmigen Sound verpassen lassen: Die Drums tun fast schon weh im Ohr, die Gitarren sind so dick aufgetragen, dass kaum noch Luft zum Atmen bleibt. So wird ein eigentlich tolles Album dann leider doch eher schwer genie\u00dfbar. Am Ende ist es ein ziemlich erm\u00fcdendes H\u00f6rerlebnis. Schade.<\/p>\n
