Fast datumsgleich mit einem Jahr zeitversetzt, erschien und folgte die vier Track EP der schwedischen Wikinger dem letzten ver\u00f6ffentlichten Studioalbum “The Great Heathen Army “. Nat\u00fcrlich ist der Hauptsong auch im einzelnen dort vertreten, w\u00e4hrend mir hier zum Original plus zwei andere Versionen, einmal live, einmal ein Goat Remix und ein anderer Song kredenzt werden. <\/p>\n

Mit \u201cHeidrun<\/strong>\u201d wird der Ziege In Mitten von Walhalla\u2032s Saal gehuldigt, aus deren Euter kugelrund, flie\u00dft der Met in unseren Schlund<\/em>. Der Song macht richtig Spa\u00df, geht gut nach vorne, man ist egal ob grobmotorisch unterwegs sofort mitten drin, macht mit und auch wenn nur der Zeh aktiviert wird und mitwippt….She stands on Valhalla’s roof, Filling the vat with the sweetest mead , She is one and the same, Heidrun is her name…<\/em><\/p>\n

Die beiden Liveaufnahmen, einmal Graspop mit “Heidrun”<\/strong>, einmal Hellfest mit dem eine Zeile tiefer erw\u00e4hnten Song, sind schon einmal soundtechnisch feiner Stoff, der aber nur \u00fcber die Ohren inhaliert werden kann. Musikalisch gibt es nichts auszusetzen, Johan Hegg klingt fast wie auf Platte, “Put Your Back into the Oar<\/strong>” ist etwas druckvoller, aber wen \u00fcberrascht es wenn, Row! Row! Row! Row! – Row! Row! Row! Row! – Row! Row! Row! Row! (The oar is your best friend) – Row! Row! Row! Row! (For a triumphant end) – Row! Row! Row! Row! (Row for victory) – Row! Row! Row! Row! (Into history)<\/em> zelebriert wird.<\/p>\n

Der “Heidrun (Goat Remix)” geht mir ganz sch\u00f6n auf die Ziege. Spielerisch gleich, der Originaltext ist leicht und weit im Hintergrund zu vernehmen und vorne meckert in einer Tour der gesamte Ziegenstall. Ich vermute Heidrun hat die Verwandtschaft aus allen Richtungen eingeladen und das zum lustigen Meet saufen. Eine nette Idee, aber auf Dauer echt anstrengend, gerade \u00fcber Headset.<\/p>\n
