Das Deb\u00fctalbum der Band aus den Staaten ist durch Bands wie Metallica, Megadeth, Pantera etc. beeinflusst, und man war auch schon mit Acts wie Cavalera Conspiracy, Warbringer oder Exciter unterwegs. Diese Namen sagen schon aus, wo die Band soundtechnisch zu verorten ist.<\/p>\n

Und genau diese Einfl\u00fcsse h\u00f6rt man schon beim Opener “SLEIGHT OF HAND”, messerscharfe Riffs und feinstes Drumming. Mit einem Gesang, der einen an James Hetfield um 1984-1988 erinnert.
\nBei “CALL OF THE VOID” startet der Song mit einem Riff, der sehr stark an Bullet for my Valentine erinnert. Mit einem Chor im Refrain, der wohl jeden mitgr\u00f6hlen l\u00e4sst und einem exzellenten Bass Teil, tr\u00e4gt der Song ordentlich dick auf.<\/p>\n

“DESPERADO” kommt fast Stoner-Rock m\u00e4\u00dfig daher und dr\u00fcckt durch die Boxen. “LAST CHANCE” beginnt mit einem ruhigen Teil und endet in einem Riffgewitter das ganz stark an Metallicas JUDAS KISS erinnert. Einer der besten Songs des Longplayers.<\/p>\n

Mit “OVER THE TOP” dreht man ein wenig an der Temposchraube und bietet einen astreinen Mitgr\u00f6l-Refrain. Mit dem Schlussakt “LENITY” l\u00e4sst man nochmal ordentlich die Sau raus und verleiht dem Album ein w\u00fcrdiges Ende.<\/p>\n

Alles in allem ein Top Longplayer, der sich hier und da Einfl\u00fcsse der Gro\u00dfen Mainacts einverleibt, aber immer wieder eigene Akzente setzt und definitiv in der Szene aufhorchen lassen d\u00fcrfte.
