Auf ihrem Deb\u00fctalbum tun Coffin Mulch<\/strong> als Glasgow genau das, was sie auf der vorherigen EP aus dem Jahr 2021, “Septic Funeral<\/a>“, schon taten: Sie machen einfach Spa\u00df!<\/p>\n

Fernab von \u00fcberambitioniertem Technical Death Metal versuchen sie auch erst gar nicht, irgendwelche Geschwindigkeitsrekorde zu brechen. Stattdessen rotzen sie ihr oldschooliges Todesblei mit einer herrlich trockenen Produktion einfach so hin. Mal bewegen sie sich dabei im Midtempo-Bereich, mal geben sie Gas, mal auch Vollgas. Doch egal, welches Tempo die Jungs fahren, sie verbreiten bierselige Bestlaune und agieren mit sp\u00fcrbarem Enthusiasmus.<\/p>\n

Einen einzelnen Song kann und will ich gar nicht herausheben. “Spectral Intercession<\/strong>” ist auch gerade einmal 30 Minuten lang. Manchen ist das vielleicht zu wenig. Ich hingegen freue mich, dass ich keine Sekunde gelangweilt bin, nie zu viel bekomme und deswegen auch immer wieder Hunger habe, das dreckige Ding aufs Neue durchzuh\u00f6ren.<\/p>\n
