Der Schrei des Teufels \u2013 ungef\u00e4hr so l\u00e4sst sich der Titel des dritten Albums von 1782 \u00fcbersetzen. Auf dem Opener \u201eA Merciful Suffering\u201c begr\u00fc\u00dft uns eine melodramatische Orgelmusik, die diesen Schrei m\u00f6glicherweise symbolisieren soll. Was die Thematik betrifft, greift das italienische Trio wieder tief in die Klischee-Kiste, was Fans von okkultem Doom aber durchaus gefallen d\u00fcrfte.<\/p>\n

Der Sound des neuen Albums, das ebenfalls wieder \u00fcber Heavy Psych Sounds ver\u00f6ffentlich wird, ist trocken wie Espenlaub und l\u00e4sst sowohl im Gesang wie auch in der Instrumentalisierung ein wenig an Tiefe vermissen. Trotzdem schaffen es 1782 eine Atmosph\u00e4re zu erschaffen, der man sich hingeben m\u00f6chte. Dabei greifen sie auf oben bereits erw\u00e4hnte Klischees zur\u00fcck und nutzen ihren instrumentalen Minimalismus als Erkennungszeichen.<\/p>\n

1782 sind Meister der okkulten \u00c4sthetik, schaffen es jedoch musikalisch nicht ganz mit dieser vor allem optischen Tempovorgabe mitzuhalten. Von den knapp 8 Songs schafft es auch nach mehrmaligen Durchl\u00e4ufen keiner in das Langzeitged\u00e4chtnis meiner Geh\u00f6rg\u00e4nge.<\/p>\n
