Night Demon bringen am 17. M\u00e4rz ihr drittes Album \u201eOutsider\u201c heraus. So an und f\u00fcr sich k\u00f6nnte ich diesen Satz stehen lassen und die Rezension losschicken. Denn wo Night Demon draufsteht, bekommt man Heavy Metal in die Ohren geblasen und jeder Fan der Band, aber auch des Genres wei\u00df, was man zu erwarten hat.<\/p>\n

Die drei Kalifornier erfinden nat\u00fcrlich das Rad des Heavy Metal nicht neu\u2026und wollen das auch gar nicht. Night Demon stehen daf\u00fcr, die glorreichen Zeiten des Heavy Metal fortzuf\u00fchren und schaffen dabei den Spagat doch eigenst\u00e4ndig zu klingen. Immer wieder kam zwar 90der Gedanke \u201ena das klingt jetzt aber nach Iron Maiden, nach Angel Witch, nach Saxon\u201c. Doch diese Gedanken sind immer recht schnell verflogen, da man sich sofort wieder auf das hier und jetzt konzentriert. Und eben dieses hier und jetzt macht richtig Spa\u00df und wird auch beim zehnten Durchlauf der Platte nicht langweilig. Jeder der die 80\u00b4er liebt, wird in \u201eOutsider\u201c einen Song finden, der ihn genau in diese Zeit zur\u00fcckversetzt. Die raue Produktion tut da ihr \u00fcbriges dazu, dass man sich dieser Zeitreise nicht entziehen kann.<\/p>\n

Ein kleiner Makel ist dann doch aufzuf\u00fchren, welchen ich leider schon oft bei anderen Bands auch schreiben musste. Knapp 35 Minuten Spielzeit sind einfach sehr kurz, und ich h\u00e4tte mir ein l\u00e4ngeres H\u00f6rvergn\u00fcgen gew\u00fcnscht. Sei es, wie es ist. Diese 35 Minuten haben es in sich und lohnen sich, die Platte anzuschaffen.
