Ein-Mann-Projekte haben Hochkonjunktur dieser Tage. Vermutlich weil es heutzutage eben gar nicht mehr so schwer ist, alles alleine zu machen, wenn man denn alle Instrumente selbst einspielen kann. Aaron Osborne<\/em> aus der australischen Metropole Melbourne hat das drauf \u2013 und bringt mit \u201cInto the Maze<\/strong>\u201d unter dem Namen Aglo<\/strong> nun ein Deb\u00fctalbum raus, auf dem er s\u00e4mtliche Musik und Lyrics selbst geschrieben und performt hat.<\/p>\n

Und was er auf \u201cInto the Maze<\/strong>\u201d zu Vortrage bringt, wei\u00df an und f\u00fcr sich durchaus zu gefallen: Riffs von erdr\u00fcckender Heaviness, extrem tiefe Death-Growls und beh\u00e4biges Tempo im unteren mittleren Bereich. Problem dabei: Im Prinzip geht das die gesamten 27 Minuten so \u2013 mit leider nur minimaler Varianz. Anders gesagt: \u201cInto the Maze<\/strong>\u201d walzt brutal-behaglich vor sich hin, bleibt letztendlich aber ein bisschen ziellos.<\/p>\n

Kurzum: Ich h\u00e4tte mir etwas mehr “direction” in den Songs gew\u00fcnscht. Und etwas mehr Abwechslung. Und deshalb gibt\u2019s von mir auch nur 6 von 10 Hellfire-Punkten<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
