Als Sie im Jahre 2020, gut zehn Jahre nach ihrem Zweitwerk “Sick of It All<\/em>“, “Fatal<\/em>” ver\u00f6ffentlichten, bekam ich dies und rezensierte es \/\/ ..hier meine Rezension..<\/a> \. Um mich nochmal so richtig in BLOOD AND BRUTALITY Stimmung zu bringen, h\u00f6rte ich mir dieses noch einmal an und es war wie immer super. Nun liegt mir die vor kurzem erschienene F\u00fcnf Titel EP namens “Life Support<\/em>” vor und als erstes muss ich feststellen, das der Sound roher geworden ist und mir irgendwie der entsprechende Druck fehlt, denn das war meiner Ansicht nach auf dem vorher erw\u00e4hnten anders und besser.<\/p>\n

“Belated Awakenings<\/strong>” er\u00f6ffnet als kurzes Intro musikalisch mit leicht oriental klingenden Komponenten, w\u00e4hrend folgend “Dissecting Humanity<\/strong>” sch\u00f6n geradlinig die Spur h\u00e4lt und im Hardcore & Thrash Modus mir durch die Geh\u00f6rgange fegt. Abgebogen und ruhig schleppender wird es ab der Mitte, um dann zum Ende hin wieder die geballten und gesammelten Kr\u00e4fte f\u00fcr das vorhergehend Geh\u00f6rte freizulassen.<\/p>\n

“Life Support<\/strong>” grooved in Zeitlupe, setzt verschieden klangliche Marker und ist anders und kreativ gestaltet unterwegs, “Abysmal Demise<\/strong>” kommt meiner Ansicht anf\u00e4nglich nicht so richtig aus dem Hintern, aber das \u00e4ndert sich zum Gl\u00fcck und schon und sch\u00f6n geht die ber\u00fchmte Post ab, teilweise fast schon mit Blastbeat, im gemeinsamen Zusammenspiel zwischen Drums und 6-Saiter tonhaftem und abschlie\u00dfend mit Bass und ausklingenden Melodieb\u00f6gen. “Somber Repose<\/strong>” ist das Outro und klangvoll akustische T\u00f6ne mit einem Hauch Traurigkeit beenden das Ganze nach 21:34 Minuten.<\/p>\n

Die EP gefiel schon, ist aber kein Vergleich zum 2020er Album. H\u00f6rt euch einfach mal “Witness to Slaughter<\/em>” oder “Torturous<\/em>” von jenem an und ihr versteht vielleicht, was ich meine, alleine schon vom Sound her.<\/p>\n

Fazit:<\/strong> Schon ganz gut, aber ich bin von den US Death\/Thrasher`n samt Sound besseres gewohnt oder schon zu verw\u00f6hnt? Wer wei\u00df!<\/p>\n

Von mir gibt es 7,5 von 10 Hellfire-Punkten.<\/strong><\/p>\n
