Nach f\u00fcnf Jahren melden sich Acid Witch<\/strong> p\u00fcnktlich zu Halloween mit ihrem vierten Album zur\u00fcck! Und ganz wie erwartet ist die Band aus Detroit zum Weltfeiertag des Schauers voll in ihrem Element. Soll hei\u00dfen: “Rot Among Us<\/strong>” ist ein gut vierzigmin\u00fctiges Vergn\u00fcgen aus Death, Doom, Sludge und Stoner Metal, getragen von fetten Riffs und meist mittigen Tempos, garniert mit Hollywood-typischen Schauer-Soundeffekten und fiesen Vocals. Textlich geht’s haupts\u00e4chlich um Hexen und andere Angstverbreiter und \u2014 wie \u00fcblich \u2014 auch um “mushrooms, weed, and LSD.” Man muss aber keine bewusstseinserweiternden Substanzen zu sich nehmen, um Spa\u00df an diesem \u00e4u\u00dferst kurzweiligen Longplayer zu haben. Und garantiert bereitet “Rot Among Us” auch nach dem 31. Oktober noch Freude.<\/p>\n
