Das zw\u00f6lfte Studioalbum von CROWBAR aus New Orleans erblickte vor einigen Tagen das metallische Licht der Welt, hat zehn Titel mit an Bord und bringt es damit zusammen auf eine Spielzeit von 42:43 Minuten.<\/p>\n

Wie nicht anders erwartet, gehen die Sludge Metal K\u00f6nige, zumindest f\u00fcr mich, gleich mit ihrem Gemisch aus Stoner und Doom extrem geil und musikalisch schleppend zu Werke und Kirk Windstein gibt dem Ganzen mit seinem schmerz-leidlich-druckvollen Gesang noch die extra Portion Klasse und W\u00fcrze. Das Ganze, diesen Teppich, kann ich auf die ersten drei Titel, “The Fear That Binds You<\/strong>“, Her Evil Is Sacred<\/strong>” und “Confess to Nothing<\/strong>” schon mal so ausbreiten, denn mit “Chemical Godz<\/strong>” wird es nicht weniger gut, aber hier geht man doch teilweise etwas schneller und aufstampfender zu Werke, was dem Song in seiner dahingehenden Mischung und Darbietung gut zu Gesicht steht.<\/p>\n

“Denial of the Truth<\/strong>” ist nachdenklich, anders, ruhige gef\u00fchrte Passagen mit cleanem Gesang wechseln sich mit bekanntem ab, der Song lebt von und mit den unterschiedlichsten Momenten und bei “Bleeding from Every Hole<\/strong>” geht zeitlich begrenzt mal geradlinig die besagte Post ab und das immer sch\u00f6n im gegenseitigen Wechsel mit den anderen Rhythmen.<\/p>\n

“It’s Always Worth the Gain<\/strong>” nimmt sich alleine die Zeit davor bis das Gesangliche mitmischen darf und man stampft dann gemeinsam auf. Die letzten Drei, n\u00e4mlich “Crush Negativity<\/strong>“, “Reanimating a Lie<\/strong>” und “Zero and Below<\/strong>” sind nach zwischenzeitlich anders bemerkenswertem wieder im Sludge, im Stil, in ihrem gewohnten.<\/p>\n

Fazit:<\/strong> D\u00fcsterer Sludge und das in einem dreierlei gestaffelten Paket!<\/p>\n
