Sal Abruscato hat einige der ganz gro\u00dfen Klassiker der Neunziger eingetrommelt: “Bloody Kisses” von Type O Negativ zum Beispiel, im selben Jahr auch “River Runs Red” von Life of Agony. Seit gut 10 Jahren steht der New Yorker nun seiner eigenen Band vor, A Pale Horse Named Death<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Aktuell bringt die Kombo ihr mit “Infernum in Terra<\/strong>” ihr viertes Album auf den Markt \u2014 und Freunde der Neunziger d\u00fcrften an der Mischung aus Doom und Grunge ihre helle Freude haben. Was die Musik insbesondere auszeichnet, sind Abruscatos Vocals: Sein sonorer Bariton klingt angenehm warm und seine Gesangslinien sind derart verf\u00e4nglich, dass er mit diesem Album vor 30 Jahren vielleicht selbst zur Grunge-Ikone geworden w\u00e4re.<\/p>\n

“Infernum in Terra<\/strong>” ist ein sehr sch\u00f6nes Album geworden. Eines, bei dem man sich auf jeden n\u00e4chsten Song freut, weil jeder n\u00e4chste Song toll ist \u2014 und fr\u00fcher oder sp\u00e4ter auch mitgesungen werden kann. Ich kann mich schon jetzt sehen, wie ich an einem kalten Sonntag im November aus dem Fenster schaue, dieses Album dabei h\u00f6re und Freude an der Melancholie habe. Nur werde ich dabei immer das unn\u00f6tig lange Intro und Outro \u00fcberspringen. Und vielleicht auch die Intermission.<\/p>\n

Aber f\u00fcr unterm Strich 8 tolle Songs gibt\u2019s von mir 8 von 10 HELLFIRE<\/strong><\/em>-Punkten.<\/p>\n
