Fr\u00fcher S\u00e4nger und Gitarrist bei The Loved Ones <\/em>macht DAVE HAUSE <\/strong>nun bereits seit zehn Jahren als Solok\u00fcnstler Musik. Damals schloss er sich mit Brian Fallon <\/em>(The Gaslight Anthem<\/em>), Chuck Ragan <\/em>(Hot Water Music<\/em>) und Dan Andriano <\/em>(Alkaline Trio<\/em>) f\u00fcr die The Revival Tour<\/em> zusammen und erlangte auch in Europa gr\u00f6\u00dfere Bekanntheit.<\/p>\n

Nun ver\u00f6ffentlicht DAVE HAUSE <\/strong>zwei Full Cover-EPs, auf denen er zwei seiner musikalischen Held:innen huldigt: Singer-Songwriterin PATTY <\/strong>Griffin <\/em>und Patrick<\/em> “PADDY<\/strong>” Costello <\/em>von Dillinger Four<\/em>. Damit stellt er sich in die Tradition von Bruce Springsteen<\/em>s “The Seeger Sessions” oder Steve Earle<\/em>s “Townes”: er widmet vollst\u00e4ndige Werke K\u00fcnstler:innen, die sein eigenes Schaffen gepr\u00e4gt haben.<\/p>\n

Eine wundervolle Hommage, die f\u00fcr Anh\u00e4nger:innen seiner Idole spannend ist, aber auch zum Entdecken einl\u00e4dt. Unaufdringlich interpretiert er Dillinger Four<\/em>-Abrei\u00dfer neu: genial sind seine folkige Version von “The father, the son, and the homosexual\/single parent” und das Piano-Duett “Doublewhiskeycokenoice” mit Lilly Hiatt<\/em>. Seinen Griffin<\/em>-Darbietungen verleiht er mittels E-Gitarre hingegen ein h\u00e4rteres Gewand (“When it don\u00b4t come easy”). Auf diese Weise switcht er in Ans\u00e4tzen die Stile der K\u00fcnstler:innen die ihn pr\u00e4gten und findet seine eigenen Versionen in der Mitte dazwischen. Mit Brian Fallon<\/em>, Bartees Strange, Laura Stevenson<\/em>, Jake Blount<\/em>, Lilly Hiatt <\/em>und Will Hoge <\/em>hat er dar\u00fcber hinaus diverse Partner:innen f\u00fcr sein Herzensprojekt gewinnen k\u00f6nnen. <\/p>\n
