Die Lyrics der christlichen Metalband STRYPER <\/strong>sind und bleiben sicherlich ein Streitthema, musikalisch hingegen gibt es wenig Diskussionsbedarf: Mit EVEN THE DEVIL BELIEVES <\/strong>zeigen sich die White Metal-Urgesteine zwischen Power Metal und AOR einmal mehr formstark. <\/p>\n

Zum Einstieg gibt es mit dem kraftstrotzenden “Blood from above” direkt das Album-Highlight auf die Ohren. Geile Gitarren und ein gro\u00dfartiger Michael Sweet <\/em>sorgen daf\u00fcr, dass der Opener in einer Reihe mit den Signature-Songs “To hell with the devil” und “Soldiers under command” genannt werden kann. Danach kann zwar kein Song mehr angemessen Schritt halten, dennoch lassen sich mit “Do unto others” noch eine coole Hymne und mit “Invitation only” ein Gute-Laune-Power-Rocker finden, die das Album vom soliden Durchschnitt abheben. Auch die \u00fcbliche Ballade, diesmal im Bon Jovi<\/em>-Country-Style fehlt nicht, h\u00e4tte es aber besser getan.<\/p>\n

EVEN THE DEVIL BELIEVES <\/strong>ist ein gut produziertes Album mit wenigen Ausrei\u00dfern nach Unten und umso st\u00e4rkeren nach Oben. Daf\u00fcr gibt es von mir 7,5 von 10 Hellfire-Punkten<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
