Aus welchem Blickwinkel betrachtet man ein Deb\u00fctalbum, das nicht wirklich eines ist? Diese Frage schwirrt im Kontext von WESTWORLD CRISIS <\/strong>stets mit. UXB<\/strong> hei\u00dft die neue Formation von Kerry Martinez <\/em>(Shattered Faith, Bad Luck Charms), Wade Walston <\/em>(Suburbia, DI, Agent Orange) und Chip Hanna <\/em>(One Man Army, Weirdos, TSOL), die aufgrund konfligierender politischer Ansichten ihres Fronters, der Skateboard-Legende Duane Peters<\/em>,  U.S. Bombs <\/i>verlie\u00dfen und sich nun mit Jesse Wagner <\/em>von The Aggrolites<\/em> einen neuen S\u00e4nger gesucht haben.<\/p>\n

U.S. Bombs<\/em> gelten als Kultband des 1990er Jahre Skate- und Streetpunk. Ihr Sound ist stark gepr\u00e4gt durch 77er-Punk-Einfl\u00fcsse. An exakt diesen Sound kn\u00fcpfen UXB <\/strong>nahtlos an. Zw\u00f6lf straighte Oldschool-Punk Songs, wie gemacht f\u00fcr kleine Clubshows, vermitteln zwischen Spa\u00df und bissigem Unterton. Mal steht der Punk (“Westworld crisis”, “Higher ground”) im Vordergrund, mal der Aggrolites<\/em>-Reggae (“Think it over”, “Night marchers”). UXB <\/strong>klingen trotz Retro-Attit\u00fcde erfreulich frisch und d\u00fcrften vielen Punk-Nostalgikern wahre Freude bereiten. <\/p>\n
