\u201eThe God Machine<\/em>\u201c hie\u00df das neue\/neunte Werk von STEEL PROPHET (gegr\u00fcndet 1983), das am 26. April 2019, gut f\u00fcnf Jahre nach dem ver\u00f6ffentlichten \u201eOmniscient<\/em>\u201c erschien und sich seit dieser Zeit das Line-Up Karussell des \u00d6fteren drehte, aber auf die Details dazu, gehe hier aber nicht tiefer und n\u00e4her ein.<\/p>\n

Das Quintett bietet geladenen US Power-Metal, welcher gleich zu beginn bei “The God Machine<\/strong>“, “Crucify<\/strong>” und “Thrashed Relentlessly<\/strong>” zum erlauschen freigegeben ist. S\u00e4nger R.D. Liapakis (u.a. auch noch aktiv bei Mystic Prophecy) bietet hier vokalistisch eine breite Palette und Bandbreite an und kraftvoll, melodisch, wuchtig ist man im gesamten unterwegs.<\/p>\n

“Dark Mask (Between Love And Hate)<\/strong>” kommt straight im Hard Rock\/Heavy-Metal Gewand um die Ecke und mit “Damnation Calling<\/strong>” wird es rockig schwer, der sich auch bis zum ende hin in diesem Gefilde bewegt und bleibt. “Soulhunter<\/strong>” reitet vorw\u00e4rts und l\u00e4sst die Muskeln im Gesamtkonzept ordentlich spielen, w\u00e4hrend bei mir parallele Erinnerungen an Iron Maiden geweckt werden. Trotz der “\u00c4hnlichkeit” ein starker Song….oder gerade deswegen? hm…<\/p>\n

Nat\u00fcrlich darf hier auch eine Ballade (Powerballade?) nicht fehlen und so bekomme ich diese mit “Buried And Broken<\/strong>” geboten, die mich aber nicht aus dem Sessel haut. Dagegen sind “Lucifer \/ The Devil Inside<\/strong>“, “Fight, Kill<\/strong>” und “Life = Love = God Machine<\/strong>” wieder kraftstrotzende Pakete unterschiedlichster Art und bilden nach dem doch eher balladesken Fehltritt<\/em> wieder das, wof\u00fcr das Quintett angetreten ist, n\u00e4mlich Power-Metal!<\/p>\n

Fazit: <\/b>Ein energetisch abwechslungsreiches Power-Metal Album, was man sich nicht entgehen lassen sollte.<\/p>\n
