Als Dream Quest kann man das, was SMOULDER <\/strong>dieser Tage (neben vielen weiteren K\u00fcnstlern) durchgemacht haben nicht gerade bezeichnen. Nach der Absage des Up the Hammers Festival <\/em>in Europa gestrandet, mit einem Berg speziell f\u00fcrs Festival gedruckter Shirts im Gep\u00e4ck, konnte die Band nun endlich die R\u00fcckreise ins heimische Kanada antreten. Nicht zuletzt wegen des \u00fcberw\u00e4ltigenden Supports ihrer Anh\u00e4nger.<\/p>\n

Positiv zu vermelden ist f\u00fcr die Truppe neben dieser offenherzigen Unterst\u00fctzung auch die Ver\u00f6ffentlichung ihrer EP DREAM QUEST ENDS<\/strong>. Mit zwei neuen Songs, einem tollen Manilla Road <\/em>Cover (“Cage of mirrors”) und ihrem angeh\u00e4ngten 2018er Demotape The sword woman<\/em> <\/em>ver\u00f6ffentlichen sie einen feinen Appetizer f\u00fcr den (hoffentlich bald) bevorstehenden n\u00e4chsten Langspieler.<\/p>\n

“Dream quest ends” und “Warrior witch of hell” kn\u00fcpfen nahtlos an das \u00fcberw\u00e4ltigende Deb\u00fctalbum Times of obscene evil and wild daring <\/em>an und schlie\u00dfen nach eigener Aussage das erste Kapitel der Bandgeschichte ab. Fans epischer Doom-Hymnen k\u00f6nnen erneut gedankenlos zugreifen und sich dem kraftvollen Gesang von Sarah Ann Kitteringham <\/em>hingeben.<\/p>\n
