Ab sofort gehen die Post-Hardcore<\/strong>-Jungs von Shellz<\/strong> und Dead Serious Recordings<\/strong> einen gemeinsamen Weg. Band und Label gaben ihre Zusammenarbeit bekannt und k\u00fcndigten zugleich den Release des Shellz-Deb\u00fctalbums “No More Love Songs” f\u00fcr den 27. M\u00e4rz 2020<\/strong> an.<\/p>\n

Shellz entstand 2016, damals noch unter dem etwas sperrigeren She Sells Sea Shells<\/strong>. Ihr Sound war aber von Anfang an wesentlich eing\u00e4ngiger als der schon als Zungenbrecher qualifizierte Name der Formation. Schon ihre im Mai 2016 ver\u00f6ffentlichte erste Single “The Person That I Am Today” zeigte, dass die f\u00fcnf ein H\u00e4ndchen f\u00fcr die perfekte Mischung aus H\u00e4rte und Melodie haben. Mit ihrer im September 2017 ver\u00f6ffentlichten EP “Savior|Remedy”<\/strong> stellten die Jungs dann teils sehr unterschiedliche Facetten dieses Grundprinzips vor.<\/p>\n

Nach der sprechfreundlichen Verk\u00fcrzung des Bandnamens und dem Release zweier Singles steht nun das erste Full Length von Shellz in den Startl\u00f6chern, an dem die Band schon l\u00e4ngere Zeit gearbeitet hat. Die vorab ver\u00f6ffentlichten Songs “Haunted”<\/strong> und “Aurora”<\/strong> geben dabei einen Vorgeschmack auf die Entwicklung der Band und darauf, was man von “No More Love Songs” erwarten darf. Fans des f\u00fcr Inspirationen offenen Post-Hardcore d\u00fcrfen sich da auf etwas freuen.<\/p>\n
