Quiet Riot – eine Band die nicht nur durch den tragischen Tod des S\u00e4ngers und Gr\u00fcndungsmitglieds Kevin Mark DuBrow und durch viele Line-Up Wechsel auf sich aufmerksam machte, sondern auch weil das Quartett aus Los Angeles die erste Formation war, die ein Heavy Metal-Album (Metal Health – 1983 – 6 Millionen Exemplare wurden verkauft<\/em>) an die Spitze der US-Billboard Charts bringen konnte und dadurch Weltruhm erlangte.<\/p>\n

36 Jahre sp\u00e4ter liegt mir nun das 14. Studio-Album “Hollywood Cowboys” vor. Ich sollte vokalistisch mich mal schnell aus meiner Jugendgedankenzeit verabschieden, denn ich habe immer noch die screamend markante Stimme von DuBrow im Ohr, egal ob bei “Cum On Feel The Noize<\/em>“, “Bang Your Head<\/em>” oder “Metal Health<\/em>” die ich geliebt habe und so nie wieder neu h\u00f6ren werde. Es ist schwierig sich auf was neues einzulassen, wenn man Jahre lang durch die ersten Alben gepr\u00e4gt wurde. Geht eine markante Stimme, verliert f\u00fcr mich die Band meistens alles, Beispiele gibt es mittlerweile leider genug.<\/p>\n

Teilnehmer bei “American Idol” James Durbin am Gesang ist nun mittlerweile auch beim dritten Album nach 2014 – “Road Rage” und dem Live Album “One Night In Milan” aus dem Jahre 2018 vertreten und macht seine Sache gut, kr\u00e4ftig und durchdringend. Mittlerweile ist er seit September 2019 nicht mehr mit an Bord und “neu” vertreten ist Jizzy Pearl, der schon einmal Mitglied der Band war, bisher aber ohne gesanglichen Auftritt.<\/p>\n

Die Band bietet hier \u00fcber die gesamte L\u00e4nge kraftvollen, mitrei\u00dfenden, romantisch rockend balladesken, blueslastigen oder teilweise straighten Glam \/ Hard Rock. Die Wiedergabe ist breit gef\u00e4chert und definitiv kreativ. “Insanity<\/strong>” ist so ein beschriebenes Kraftpaket, “Roll On<\/strong>” l\u00e4sst das mich langsam kopfwippend im Sessel zur\u00fcck, “Hellbender<\/strong>” rockt ordentlich groovend und “Last Outcast<\/strong>” setzt noch einmal alle Kr\u00e4fte frei und ist aus meiner Sicht der h\u00e4rteste und schnellste Song auf dem Album.<\/p>\n

Fazit: <\/strong>Es sind nicht mehr meine Quiet Riot, aber trotzdem kann ich das Album Glam, Classic & Hard Rock Fans empfehlen.<\/p>\n
