Der Nikolaus ist diesmal ein Pirat und ver\u00f6ffentlicht an seinem Tag die 4 Track EP “Crossing The Blades<\/em>“. Singt jetzt etwa der Knecht Rupprecht? Nein nat\u00fcrlich nicht, Running Wild sind gemeint, die drei Jahre nach “Rapid Foray<\/em>” wieder neues Material herausbringen. F\u00fcr mich sind immer noch “Gates Of Purgatory<\/em>” (1984) und “Branded and Exiled<\/em>” (1985) die absoluten Lieblings -und Kultscheiben. Nun gut, wir sind im Jahre 2019 und nicht mehr in den Achtzigern, aber trotzdem wollte ich es mal erw\u00e4hnen.<\/p>\n

“Crossing The Blades<\/strong>” setzt die schwarze Flagge und rockt zu beginn im Mid-Tempo durch die Gew\u00e4sser, um dann die Fahrt intensiver aufzunehmen. Sehr gut gefallen mir die 6-Saiter und das Rockn Rolfs stimmliche Darbietung sch\u00f6n aggressiv r\u00fcber kommt. “Stargazed<\/strong>” treibt das Tempo ein wenig in die H\u00f6he und die Riffs sitzen wie die Kanonade in das feindliche Schiff.<\/p>\n

“Strutter<\/strong>” ist eine Interpretation des Kiss Klassikers aus dem Jahre 1974. Hier muss oder sollte jeder f\u00fcr sich selber entscheiden, ob er es mag oder nicht. Ich jedenfalls finde sie gelungen. “Ride On The Wild Side<\/strong>” geht gut nach vorne und kommt mit der entsprechenden Rock`n Roll Power daher. Sehr cool! Ich bin gespannt das neue Album, was bestimmt nicht mehr weit entfernt ist und bald am Horizont erscheinen wird.<\/p>\n

Fazit:<\/strong> Jack Sparrow w\u00e4re stolz auf seine metallisch rockenden Kollegen.<\/p>\n
