Vor allem bekannt als Drummer der Formationen Manilla Road <\/em>und Trance<\/em> und als Redakteur des Deaf Forever<\/em> ist Andreas<\/em> “Neudi” Neuderth <\/em>eine stilpr\u00e4gende Figur der Metalszene. Nun ver\u00f6ffentlicht er unter dem Titel DAMN THIS STUFF IS HEAVY! <\/strong>eine Kompilation, die als 20 Tracks – 79 Minutes spanning 40 years of Hardrock & Heavy Metal <\/em>vertrieben wird. Eingebettet in ein Intro und Outro finden sich neben Songs seiner eigenen Bands sowohl Lieder aktueller Szene-Durchstarter wie Sanhedrin<\/em> als auch von Kultbands wie Satan<\/em>.  <\/p>\n

Mal wird es, wie der TItel der Compilation anpreist wirklich heavy und fast, so beispielsweise bei “Sins of the damned” von Savage Grace<\/em>. Mal geht es spacig zur Sache wie bei “Needle Gun” von Hawkwind. <\/em>Insgesamt beweist Neudi<\/em> ein gutes H\u00e4ndchen f\u00fcr eine abwechslungsreiche Zusammenstellung, die besonders bei Anh\u00e4ngern der Deaf Forever- <\/em>und Keep it True<\/em>-Blase auf Best\u00e4tigung treffen d\u00fcrfte. Jeder weitere Zuh\u00f6rer und r\u00fcckw\u00e4rtsgewandte Hardrock und Metal-Fan kann sich in diesem Potpourri sehr schnell anfixen und inspirieren lassen. Wem DAMN THIS STUFF IS HEAVY! <\/strong>gef\u00e4llt, dem sei auch Neudis<\/em> Blog ans Herz gelegt, in dem er in regem Austausch mit Fans und Szenemusikern mal einstimmig, mal kontrovers diskutiert.<\/p>\n

In Zeiten in denen der Gedanke an Compilations in den meisten Kreisen durch Streamingportale abgel\u00f6st wurde, bekommt NEUDI PRESENTS <\/strong>von mir 7,5 von 10 Hellfire-Punkten<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
