<\/p>\n

Das Deb\u00fctalbum der amerikanischen Technical Death Metal Band Victims of Contagion<\/em> aus Pittsburgh wurde vor kurzem ver\u00f6ffentlicht und liegt mir nun zur Rezension vor.<\/p>\n

Eine Mischung aus Progressive Rock und Grindcore-Elementen, schnellen Gitarrenriffs, schnell gespielte Blastbeats und gutturalem und b\u00f6sartigem Gesang von Chris Edison erwarten mich. Dies alles wird verbunden mit Piano -und Klaviert\u00f6nen und eing\u00e4ngig ruhigen Beginnpassagen. So geschehen und erlauscht bei “The Promethean Flame<\/strong>” und dem folgenden “Of Species Departed<\/strong>“.<\/p>\n

“The Human Severance<\/strong>” und “Corporeal Punishment<\/strong>” wuchten und biegen sich gewaltig mal nach links, mal nach rechts mit intensiven Double-Bass und straighten musikalischen Attacken. “Sisyphus (The Virtue of Suicide)<\/strong>” erinnert mich zu beginn an Morbid Angel in seiner Spielweise. Teilweise schwer gehalten mit atmosph\u00e4rischen tiefen pr\u00e4sentiert sich mir der Song. Den Abschluss bildet der \u00fcber zw\u00f6lf-min\u00fctige Titel “Autophagous Horizons<\/strong>” der noch einmal alles aufbietet was im gesamten oben schon beschrieben wurde, nat\u00fcrlich hier in \u00dcberl\u00e4nge.<\/p>\n

Fazit:<\/strong> Freunde des Technical Death Metal sollten hier gespannt die Ohren spitzen!<\/p>\n

Ich gebe f\u00fcr dieses Album 8,5 von 10 Hellfire-Punkten.<\/p>\n
