English version of the interview:

Hellfire‘s Quick 5 interviews try to give lot of info within narrow frame of five questions and five answers. Sometimes can happen, that one question consists of two or three. It’s up to musicians to answer short, longer or excessively.

Today we talk with Mihael from the Croatian band NORD.

HF: Thank you, that you take time for our Quick5-Interview and congratulation for your Album „Play restart“ and your new Video of the title track “Play restart”. First of all I must say, when I heart the first 2 or 3 songs of your Album, I’m not sure if I would love it or hate it. But at the end, when the Album is over, I’m sitting in my chair, got my eyes closed and I’m absolutely flashed by the impressive sound and I fellt in a very special mood. Do you hear from other persons the same reactions?

Mihael: Hahaha! That sounds great man. Any emotion we produce with our music is good, better than none, so I hope there will be a lot more people that will feel the way you do about our songs. We had really great nice and positive comments from all around the world so we are really happy about it. Let’s hope there will be more and more people that even have the time to sit down, close their eyes and enjoy music for a whole hour. I think that’s the biggest problem today. It seems people like that are like dinasours. Extinct. That’s the problem with music these days. We’re all too busy chasing money and building stress and dying from it. No time to listen to the whole album like in the old days. That’s why we salute the big comeback of vinyl.

HF: I watch the video of the title track “Play Restart”. Is there a message that you would like to transfer to the fans and/or what is the deeper meaning of the song?

Mihael: There is always a second chance, for anything and everything, that is if you really want it. Grab it if you get the chance. It’s never too late. In short – play restart. 🙂

HF: I don’t know, if Croatia has a Rock- and Metal-Scene like in Europe. Because I spent a lot of my holidays in your beautiful country, but I only heart a lot of tradionel folk music. What do you think about and is there a future for upcoming rock- and metalbands?

Mihael: There has always been a lot of great rock and metal bands in Croatia, but since there is no media or any other kind of support it’s hard for them to sustaine their bands and their work. It’s always underground here. Rock. Metal even more. Deeper underground. Six feet under… It’s even worse last couple of years, music went from bad to shit. But there is always a great amount of quality bands. It’s just that they are always under the radar of any relevant media.

HF: Referring to the Rock- and Metal-Scene in Croatia, what about your plans of touring through Europe and specially Germany? Maybe do you have any pleasing news for the fans?

Mihael: Our first plan regarding live shows is Germany, we have a booking agency working on that so hopefully soon we will have some good news for you and for us 😉 We played a lot of countries during the years but never Germany, so still waiting for that first show.

HF: And my last question… What are you future plans, do you have any new ideas, where did you see yourself in 5 or 10 years?

Mihael: I hope we’ll have a lot of albums, fans and live shows all around the world. That is the ultimate goal, to play and enjoy the shows and music.

HF: Thank you for the interview. Me and the whole Hellfire-Team wish you a lot of success in the future and I hope to see you sometime live in Europe.

Mihael: We hope it will happen soon. Thank you so much for supporting ous on our way, we are really thankfull for your interest. Live somewhere in Europe sounds good to me. See you! 😉
